Dear Visitor!
Welcome to the website of the Audi Hungaria Department of Whole Vehicle Engineering at Széchenyi István University in Győr, Hungary! This is one of the seven university departments within the Audi Faculty of Automotive Engineering established in the past decade by Audi Hungaria in Hungary.
Our department was founded in June 2013, as part of the former Audi Hungaria Department Group with twofold goals: to facilitate high-quality education and training of future vehicle development engineers as well as to initiate research and industrial cooperation in the area of whole vehicle conceptual design, development and analysis. In January 2015, the Department became part of the then newly established AUDI Hungaria Faculty of Automotive Engineering.
With the strong support of our industrial partner, Audi Hungaria Zrt., the Department of Whole Vehicle Engineering enables to support the high-tech vehicle engineering education and research in the following areas:
- continuous optimization of technologies using the latest computer simulation and optimization techniques
- improvement of the whole vehicle's energy efficiency (so-called energy management), as well as discovering its new strategies and opportunities
- innovative acoustical developments in order to optimize comfort and exterior noise
Our pages provide all relevant information about the educational programs, student projects as well as the research activities our Department is involved in. The website also aims to become a platform for future collaboration partners from industry or academia to contact us. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or feedback!
Wishing you great browsing:
